For this project, the masked legends bring in an all-star lineup of vocalists, including Cesar Rosas of Los Lobos, Big Sandy of Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys, and Little Willie G. of Thee Midniters. The result is a vibrant, high-energy tribute to the Spanish-language adaptations of classic rock & roll that surged through Mexico and East L.A. in the 1960s.

Rather than simply translating familiar songs, the album pulls from versions originally reimagined by pioneering Latin rock groups like Los Teen Tops, Los Locos del Ritmo, and Los Rebeldes del Rock, giving the record a deeper cultural authenticity and historical weight.

This 15th anniversary edition marks the first-ever reissue of the 2007 release and the first time it has been pressed on color vinyl. Limited to just 1,000 copies worldwide, this purple vinyl edition is both a collector’s piece and a celebration of cross-cultural rock & roll history.
