The Songs of the Everly Brothers 2xLP

Before their unmistakable harmonies helped define the sound of early rock ‘n’ roll, Don and Phil Everly were already accomplished songwriters with an extraordinary ear for melody.

The Songs of The Everly Brothers brings together 36 recordings showcasing the brothers’ remarkable songwriting talents, including rare demos, early recordings, and selections from their years with Cadence Records. It’s a fascinating look at the creative partnership behind one of American music’s most influential duos.

While the Everly Brothers are best remembered for their soaring vocal harmonies and timeless hits, this collection digs deeper into their work as composers. From early rock ‘n’ roll and rockabilly to tender country ballads and beautifully crafted pop songs, these recordings reveal the musical foundation that helped shape their legendary career.

Featuring early versions of songs like “Maybe Tomorrow,” “When Will I Be Loved,” and “Give Me a Future,” this collection offers a rare opportunity to hear Don and Phil developing their songwriting craft.

Released by Sundazed Music and mastered by Bob Irwin, The Songs of The Everly Brothers is an essential archival collection for fans of early rock ‘n’ roll, close-harmony singing, and American roots music.

Why We Carry It

The Everly Brothers are one of those groups whose influence reaches into nearly every corner of the music we love. Their harmonies helped shape rock ‘n’ roll, country rock, and generations of guitar-driven pop, influencing everyone from The Beatles and The Beach Boys to countless rockabilly and roots artists.

What makes this collection especially interesting is that it goes beyond the familiar hits and explores the brothers as songwriters. We’re big fans of records that uncover the history behind the music, and this Sundazed collection is exactly that. A beautiful look at two artists whose influence is still heard everywhere.
