Originally released digitally for Halloween 2026, Sounds from the Haunted Lagoon brings together five tracks from across the instrumental surf scene. From eerie melodies and haunting atmospheres to electrifying guitars and crashing reverb, this collection was made for haunted beaches, late-night listening, and anyone who likes a little horror with their surf music.

Featuring Blue Wave Theory, The Riptide Rats, Infernal Order of the Black Flame, Les Panches Surfers, and Sys Malakian, the compilation makes its vinyl debut on Lagoon Mist Green 7” vinyl, limited to just 250 copies worldwide.

Featuring original artwork by Sweetsiren Designs, this special 45 RPM pressing brings a little piece of the Haunted Lagoon to your turntable all year long.

Why We Carry It

We love Halloween almost as much as we love surf music, so bringing the two together felt like a natural fit. Sounds from the Haunted Lagoon celebrates the darker, stranger side of instrumental surf, featuring five artists who each bring something different to the collection.

What started as a digital Halloween release has become a limited physical record we’re proud to add to the Another Wave Records catalog. Because spooky surf shouldn’t be reserved for October.
