LA LOM - Live at Thalia Hall

Captured live at Chicago’s Thalia Hall, Live At Thalia Hall showcases LA LOM in their most natural element, locked in, rhythmic, and fully alive on stage. Known for blending cumbia, tropical, and instrumental influences with a modern edge, the band delivers a performance that is both deeply rooted and forward-moving.

Across two LPs, LA LOM moves effortlessly between traditional Latin standards and original compositions, weaving together cumbia rhythms, soulful melodies, and groove-driven arrangements. The energy of the room comes through in every track, giving the record a warm, immersive feel that studio recordings rarely capture.

Standout moments include “Juana la Cubana,” “Los Sabanales,” and the medley of “El Paso Del Gigante / La Danza de los Mirlos / Cumbia Sampuesana,” all performed with a dynamic, live intensity that highlights the band’s musicianship and chemistry.

This release is both a celebration of live performance and a testament to LA LOM’s ability to bridge classic tropical and latin sounds with a modern audience.
