Don’t Press Your Luck! The IN Sound of 60’s Connecticut 2xLP

A fascinating deep dive into one of the most overlooked regional scenes of the 1960s, Don’t Press Your Luck! The IN Sound of 60’s Connecticut uncovers a treasure trove of garage rock, psychedelic experimentation, and teenage rock & roll from the Nutmeg State.

Compiled from rare singles, forgotten local releases, and long-lost recordings, this collection captures the excitement of a time when bands across America were plugging in guitars, forming groups in garages, and chasing rock & roll dreams. The result is a vibrant snapshot of Connecticut’s surprisingly rich underground music scene, filled with fuzz guitars, jangling melodies, organ-driven grooves, and youthful energy.

Mastered by Bob Irwin, cut by Kevin Gray, and pressed at RTI, this deluxe 2LP set delivers both exceptional sound quality and an incredible historical document for fans of regional rock history.

Good catch. Going forward I’ll ignore all distributor pricing, sale language, retailer marketing blurbs, and “buy now” copy unless we’re specifically building a product promotion. For AWR listings, we just want the record itself, why it matters, and why we carry it.
